<image:title>Bio - Roxanne is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Wyoming and Alabama</image:title>
<image:caption>Roxanne got a psychology degree with a philosophy minor from the University of Wyoming in 2014. Later, she earned an MSW from Winthrop University in South Carolina in 2018. With over 8 years of experience in clinical counseling, Roxanne has honed her skills and expertise in helping individuals navigate through various challenges. She is particularly passionate about equine assisted psychotherapy (EAP) and has been certified in this experiential approach since 2018. (Check out the video about how equine therapy works!) Additionally, Roxanne is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and holds a certification in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). Roxanne is also a certified yoga teacher, which is not officially a type of therapy, but certainly helps to teach clients grounding techniques in times of stress. Roxanne has worked in a variety of settings with a variety of people. She worked in North Carolina in a private practice, Bit of Hope, using trauma focused equine therapy. She’s also worked in an inpatient facility, Alternative to Meds Center, in Sedona Arizona with adults tapering off of antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication.</image:caption>
